Vinay is in desperate need of validating his role as a forest guard. Alienated from members of his community, he finds solace in the existence of a mystical being that he is entrusted to protect. In the absence of any real connection with the tiger, the camera trap pictures, often unclear, distorted and elusive, form a canvas for Vinay to project his dreams and desires upon. In a desperate attempt to bring these photographs to life, he finds himself relegated to the realm of stillness instead. Vinay's story is an ode to the photographic image and its potential to hold our innermost desires, fears, and dreams.
